The Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction returns Sunday, September 27, from 10 a.m.–7 p.m. in Shubert Alley and Times Square.

The Broadway Flea Market returns September 27, and Dancers Over 40 needs volunteers and donations to make our biggest—and most demanding—fundraising event of the year a success.

Our seven tables will be filled with Playbills, posters, costumes, show jackets, signed photographs, souvenirs and other theatrical treasures. This year’s collection includes costumes and papier-mâché masks from the former Los Angeles home of DO40 member Susan Sigrist, including pieces from The Milky Way by dancer, choreographer and costumer Mara Von Sellheim. Three more trunks are still to come.

Last year, our volunteers helped raise more than $11,000 for DO40. Matching that total will take plenty of hands to move boxes, organize merchandise, staff the tables and help shoppers discover something special.

To volunteer or arrange a donation of theatrical memorabilia, email dancersover40@aol.com. Donations are still being accepted at our West 54th Street location with a 24-hour doorman; please contact us for delivery details.

The fabulous Susan Sigrist modeling the mask and headpiece! And this is JUST THE BEGINNING! THREE MORE TRUNKS ARE COMING!!!
