Join Us for the 2026 DO40 Membership Meeting
It’s time to get the old ball-change rolling! Dancers Over 40 will hold our annual Zoom Membership Meeting on Monday, September 14, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. ET. Current members, new members, members who have not yet renewed and friends of DO40 who received our season announcement are all welcome.
DO40 member Melanie Futorian will introduce Half Century Dance, a company for dancers over 50 that celebrates mature artistry and challenges perceptions of aging. Its dancers have performed on Broadway, on national tours and with major dance companies. Newcomers are welcome. To learn more, contact Melanie at futorian@yahoo.com.
Board member Loni Ackerman-Kennedy will also preview The Songs of Barry Kleinbort (with dancing!), coming to The Green Room at YOTEL New York on May 3, 2027. We will also discuss volunteer needs for the September 27th Broadway Flea Market and share more of what is ahead for DO40.
