About the Show
In this musical celebration of four-time Tony Award winner Gwen Verdon, Judi Mark brings to life songs from Verdon’s iconic Broadway shows including Damn Yankees, Redhead, Sweet Charity, and Chicago.
Audiences can expect beloved numbers like “Whatever Lola Wants,” “Where Am I Going,” “Roxie,” and “If My Friends Could See Me Now,” along with selections from Gwen’s solo album The Girl I Left Home For, and gems from her film and television appearances.
The evening features music by some of the greatest songwriters in American theater — Cy Coleman and Dorothy Fields, Kander and Ebb, Simon and Garfunkel, and Kurt Weill — reflecting the remarkable range of Verdon’s career.
