What a day! We never thought we could beat our 2024 record of $8,800—but thanks to the incredible support of our DO40 members and friends who sent in tons of great merchandise, we did it! Over $10,000—an incredible new record for us!
And to the volunteers at the tables—thank you! You staffed from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., loading in, setting up, selling, negotiating with buyers, and packing out again, all while keeping DO40 Prez John Sefakis’ new knee iced every few hours!
Here’s to all our amazing volunteers: Bob (our BC/EFA credit card guy), Sandy Nance, Christine Reisner, Michon Peacock, Patrick McCarthy, Eileen Casey, Sharon Wendrow, DO40 Prez John Sefakis, James Dybas, Lawrence Leritz, Scott Raneri, Roger Preston Smith, Sasha Spielvogel, Jon Spano, Loni Ackerman, Karin Baker-Kayne, and Greg Kayne.
Not pictured: Ken Bloom, Judi Mark, Kayden Washington, the Flying Mariano sisters Patti and JoAnne, Ellen Fluhr, Virginia Seidel, Tom McRoberts, and Susan Sigrist.
Special thanks to members and friends Joe Ahumada, Brian Alpert, Loni Ackerman-Kennedy, and Dottie Stanley for providing such outstanding, high-quality merchandise.
Seen passing by and around the alley: DO40 Advisory Board member Jerry Mitchell, Chita Rivera exec Rosie Bentinck, Richie Ridge, Dennis Birchall, Felicia Velasco, DO40 website manager Megan VanWaus, Yvonne Puckett, and Marina Thomas.
Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who participated!
