DO40 member David Jackson (Mr. Jackson, if you’re nasty) returns to 54 Below in Dedicated To You: A Heartfelt Musical Journey Through the Songs of Johnny Hartman and Billy Eckstine. This soulful evening celebrates two music giants who deeply influenced David’s vocal style and have provided cherished memories from his young adulthood through today.
If you caught his outstanding first appearance at the club, or his more recent critically acclaimed Cotton Club Confidential, you already know this promises to be a truly memorable night in “Broadway’s Living Room.”
The evening is directed by Lynnette Barkley, with music direction by Andre Chez Lewis, and produced by Peter von Mayrhauser.
Adding to the magic, DO40 member Allyson Tucker (Chita Rivera: The Dancer’s Life, Man of La Mancha, Anything Goes) is delighted to return to 54 Below alongside the incomparable David Jackson.
