Meet the Honorees of the 18th Annual DO40 Legacy Awards
Dancers Over 40 will celebrate five remarkable performers at our 18th Annual Legacy Awards and Holiday Dinner on Monday, December 7, 2026, at LIPS Restaurant.
This year’s honorees are (pictured below) Anthony Marciona, Bill Nabel, Lenora Nemetz, Monica Tiller, and Candace Tovar. Each has made a lasting contribution to dance and to DO40’s mission of preserving the history, legacy and lives of our community. Together, their careers span Broadway productions including Zorba, A Chorus Line, and 42nd Street, along with many other companies and stages.
DO40 member Harold “Buddy” Flowers, also known as Boudoir LeFleur, will host the evening. Buddy first performed for DO40 at our 2010 dance concert at the Baryshnikov Arts Center in Larry Fuller’s “dance belt” number. He returned in 2016 to perform with Loni Ackerman in our celebration of Larry Fuller at St. Luke’s Theatre. Boudoir LeFleur and Zeta Jones, one of New York City’s biggest dance queens, will perform on December 7, along with guest speakers and special surprise guests.
Why Your Support Matters
DO40 chose Eventbrite because its ticket-handling fee—approximately $6.40 per ticket—was the most affordable option we found. For transparency, DO40 pays LIPS $56 per guest for dinner. That leaves only $9 from each member ticket and $19 from each non-member ticket to support the rest of the event.
The Legacy Awards cost more than $10,000 to produce, including dinner, lucite awards, travel for honorees who live outside New York City, the host and performers, photography and videography. Ticket sales alone do not cover these costs, so we rely on Playbill advertising and donations to help close the gap.
Members and friends may purchase a full- or half-page advertisement in the event Playbill. Email dancersover40@aol.com to request the Ad Spec Sheet with pricing and layout information. We are also planning a Facebook GoFundMe fundraiser to give our community another way to support the celebration.

Current 2026–2027 members must enter this season’s discount code before choosing a ticket.

On a phone, scroll down until you see it.
Before selecting a ticket, enter your 2026–2027 member discount code and click Apply.
Select the discounted Member ticket. Do not select General Admission if you are using the member discount.
Click Checkout and follow the prompts to complete your purchase.
If the Member ticket does not appear, check that you entered the correct code and clicked Apply.
