She’s baaack! DO40 member Linda Rose Iennaco returns to continue her joyful, empowering journey of helping our members improve overall well-being while having fun and connecting with one another.
Linda’s winter classes are designed to support strength, balance, mobility, and bone health, all while keeping things accessible, welcoming, and community-centered. Whether you join in person or virtually, these classes meet you where you are and help you move through daily life with greater confidence and ease.

All classes are offered as full series or single classes and are available in person (5th floor studio) and virtually on Zoom.

What to expect
Five hybrid classes are offered each week, all based on guidelines recommended by the Bone Health and Osteoporosis Foundation. Classes are designed to improve:
Postural alignment
Gait
Strength and endurance
Flexibility and mobility
Bone density
Each class focuses on function and form so we can safely and comfortably handle everyday activities like lifting groceries, reaching high shelves, making the bed, and moving with confidence while reducing the risk of falls and injury.
Every class includes:
A warm-up
Resistance work using body weight, resistance bands, and free weights
Appropriate stretching
Modifications to accommodate personal needs and challenges
Weekly class offerings
Balance and Bones Plus™
Tuesdays at 11:00 am ETLearn how to prevent falls and boost bone health through chair and standing exercises that build core stability and strengthen vulnerable areas such as wrists, hips, and lower back.
Balance and Bones™
Thursdays at 11:00 am ETSafe and effective chair-based exercises to improve core stability and muscle strength for seated, standing, and walking activities.
Exercise With Ease™ (Stand Strong™)
Fridays at 11:00 am ETA moderately paced aerobic warm-up followed by strength training to improve stamina, mobility, and balance, with a focus on injury prevention and bone and joint health.
Tap Into Well-Being™: Basics Plus or Intro
(No experience necessary)
Yes, tap dance in a chair. Sometimes! This uplifting class combines the joy of tap with the benefits of exercise, without worrying about balance, joint, or mobility challenges. Learn traditional tap combinations from a seated or standing position in a safe, supportive, and joyful environment. Comfortable clothing and shoes recommended—no sneakers or tap shoes yet.
PD Chair Functional Fitness Class for Strength and Stability
Fridays at 12:30 pm ET
A rhythmic, joyful movement class designed to build strength, balance, and confidence while seated or standing. Participants work on movements essential to daily living such as lifting, reaching, bending, sitting, and standing. Caregivers are welcome and encouraged to participate.
