AN URGENT PLEA FROM BROADWAY CARES/EQUITY FIGHTS AIDS
In the wake of the evolving coronavirus pandemic and industry-wide shutdowns, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS has launched the COVID-19 Emergency Assistance Fund today, which will be administered by The Actors Fund.
This emergency fund will help ensure that friends and colleagues in the Broadway, theatre and performing arts community - onstage and behind the scenes - get health care, financial assistance and counseling during this crisis.
Broadway Cares has donated the initial $250,000 in hopes of raising $1 million online by April 12, 2020.
